The following categories of passport services are provided at the Mission, select your passport option below and read the information carefully, as it contains vital information for your passport application.<\/p>\n

Requirements for New Passport Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. A duly filled application form<\/li>\n
  2. Original Kenyan birth certificate and a copy (persons born abroad must apply and obtain a Kenya born abroad birth certificate first) – A copy of the Foreign Birth certificate is to be submitted as well.<\/li>\n
  3. Original and a copy of Identity Card (applicants over 18 Years Old)<\/li>\n
  4. Certificate of Registration if Kenyan by registration.<\/li>\n
  5. Dully filled consent form for minors\u00a0(click to download)<\/a><\/li>\n
  6. Copies of parents\u2019 Kenyan IDs<\/li>\n
  7. Two (2) payment invoices<\/li>\n
  8. Copy of residence permit\/ certificate of Naturalisation\/proof of either having regained Kenya citizenship and or Declared Kenya citizenship for Dual Citizens.<\/li>\n
  9. A secure, registered and trackable self-addressed envelope with prepaid postage for dispatch of your documents. The envelope should have sufficient postage (not less than 500g) clearly indicating full names and post code for the applicant.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Requirements for Replacement of Passport<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Requirements for a Lost Passport<\/strong><\/p>\n

        1. A duly filled application form<\/li>\n
        2. Copy of lost passport or a previously issued passport<\/li>\n
        3. Copy of birth certificate (both sides)<\/li>\n
        4. Original and copy of ID (over 18 years old applicants)<\/li>\n
        5. Copy of registration certificate if Kenyan by registration<\/li>\n
        6. Dully filled consent form for minors\u00a0(click to download)<\/a><\/li>\n
        7. Police report on the loss of passport<\/li>\n
        8. Sworn Affidavit explaining circumstances for loss<\/li>\n
        9. Duly filled proforma for lost passport\u00a0(click here for more)<\/a><\/li>\n
        10. A secure, registered and trackable self-addressed envelope with prepaid postage for dispatch of your documents. The envelope should have sufficient postage (not less than 500g) clearly indicating full names and post code for the applicant.<\/li>\n
        11. Copy of residence permit\/ certificate of Naturalisation\/proof of either having regained Kenya citizenship and or Declared Kenya citizenship for Dual Citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Change of Name in Passport<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Kenyans who require to change name in the passport as a result of marriage, divorce or deed poll should apply for a new passport.<\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Name change as a result of marriage should provide a copy of marriage certificate. (if foreign issued, to be duly certified by a Notary, Solicitor or Commissioner for Oaths).<\/li>\n
          2. If any partner had a previous marriage, proof of divorce.<\/li>\n
          3. Other name change, provide a Deed Poll (document prepared and registered at the Registrar of documents in the Ministry of Lands, Nairobi) and a copy of Kenya Gazette Notice effecting name change.<\/li>\n
          4. Other amendments: correction of date of birth, place of birth etc., forward a copy of birth certificate (both sides) that was used to acquire the passport) and the original expired passport if any.<\/li>\n
          5. Letter to the High Commissioner requesting the name change.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Order of documents when submitting at the High Commission<\/strong><\/p>\n

            1. Secure, registered and trackable self-addressed prepaid envelope<\/li>\n
            2. Application form<\/li>\n
            3. Invoice 1 (Government copy)<\/li>\n
            4. Invoice 2 (Customer copy)<\/li>\n
            5. Original and copy of passport (bio data page) for replacements<\/li>\n
            6. Copy of Kenya birth certificate<\/li>\n
            7. Original and copy of 2nd Generation Identity card (over 18 years old applicants)<\/li>\n
            8. Copies of parents\u2019 documents (ID and passport (optional for replacements)<\/li>\n
            9. Letter addressed to the High Commission for Name change<\/li>\n
            10. Copy of Marriage certificate (where applicable)<\/li>\n
            11. Copy of Deep Poll and Kenya Gazette Notice (where applicable)<\/li>\n
            12. Copy of Resident card\/ certificate of Naturalization<\/li>\n
            13. Copy of Registrations for Kenyans by Registration<\/li>\n
            14. For Dual citizens- proof of having either regained Kenya citizenship and or declared Kenya citizenship.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
